Bye bye Montreal!

Hi guys!
I know, I know, I've been MIA for a whole month now. The weather has been so nice lately, I've been spending most of my days outside. You can't blame me when you're stuck with at least 4 - 6 month of freezing cold temperature right?

Alright, so today I decided to make a quick post to show you guys a sneak peak of what's in my travel bag. I'll be out of town for the Canada day weekend, heading to NEW YORK CITYY!! *scream of excitement* :D I've been wanting to visit (and shop, shop, shop... ;D) New York since ages never got the chance too, because it was not interesting for my parents. I did *visit* once when I was about 12 years old, but we merely stayed a few hours and couldn't visit much because we we're heading home with the tour bus and New York was just on our way.

Now I'm super excited because not only I can visit and walk around, I'm going with some friends and the boyfriend! :D And.. It will be the first time that I'm leaving the country without my parents... at 21. LOL! My boyfriend and I have been together for more than 5 years and a half now and this will be our first trip together :) We picked up a shopping tour of 3 days. CAN'T WAIT! :D

Now for the things I packed. Since I'm only going for 3 days, I tried to really stick the the basics. Even if I did, I feel like I have so much  stuff! o_O I'll let you guys judge..

Oh and the weather forecast is announcing very hot temperature this weekend in NYC. YAY FOR SUN AND LET THE SUNSCREEN SLAPPING BEGIN!!

Have a great weekend and Happy Canada day! :D
Love,
-S

  1. Yay! Have fun in the city :D The weather's been gorgeous lately! I'm only a bit younger than you and I find it SO difficult to plan a trip without parents/adults. I can't wait until I can head out on my own or just with friends!

  5.  Yay thank you :D I agree that is is so hard to plan a trip without adults! I've been able to get away with it because I'm going on a bus tour and my parents have been on many before so they are less worried because there's a guide and they know I'm not completely *free* in the city. Try planning a short trip to somewhere near your hometown and when they see that you're able to be by yourself, they will probably loosen up :)
