Baby Blue FOTD + Maybelline's dream mousse blush Pink frosting swatch & review

Hello my dear reader! Okay I'm going to cut off on the bla bla for today and go straight to the topic because I just don't feel like typing today and I want to post more pictures.. They are worth a thousand words! =P

First let's start with a FOTD! I've been feeling like playing with blue today so here it is xD Here are the thing that I used. (I forgot to take a picture of the dark blue shade that I used from the Sephora 5 in 1 color play palette!!)

Step by Step! (It's basically always the same tutorial, just different colors lol.)

First, I primed my lids with UDPP (optional) and applied Maybelline's eyestudio quad white shade (see picture) on all my lid.

I applied Mac's Suave intentions (LE) on the outer half of my lid.

& then spot a dark blue/navy shade on the outer corner of your eyes and blend it out into a v shape. I used the first shade (left side) in the "Tango in Buenos Aires" palette

Line & tightline your eyes. I used L'oreal intense lineur in Carbon black and MUFE aqua eyes 0L to tightline.
Apply the white shade on the half inner bottom lash line and the "baby" blue shade on the outer half.

Curl your lashes & apply mascara! You're done! =)

Moving on to the face! Remember my Bobbi Brown Natural finish long lasting foundation review? I've only done swatches and didn't actually showed the results on my face before and after. So here it is! =P

Top to bottomt: My bare face with only moisturizer on. & After I had the foundation on, with Maybelline's dream mousse blush in Pink frosting (scroll down for review) & Mac's lippie in Pink Nouveau!

Now! For the review hihi. I bought Maybelline's dream mousse blush in Pink frosting a few days ago because I just fell in love with the texture & I didn't own any blush before (okay.. beside the Lancome one that I bought at the L'oreal warehouse sale)..

As you can see, it's not exactly baby pink. It's really... pink. Haha. It has some little sparkles in it. It's fragrance & oil free. The texture is really like a mousse! It's very very lightweight & glides on your cheeks effortlessly & blends really well. A little goes a long way (for me) and I find the pigmentation pretty decent, maybe because I fair/light skin. (See picture up there, can you see the rosy cheeks? ^_^) It didn't made my skin oily or clogged my pores. Here is the swaaaaAaaaAAatches!
I swiped only a layer of the blush here. Can you see the little sparkles? (Enlarge to see them xD) They are not too big, just small enough to give you a highlight effect too. =)
Here I got like 2 or 3 layers of the blush.

I can't really tell if it's long lasting or not because I didn't got the chance to wear them for a long period of time. I'll come back on this point when I'll be able to test it.

Overall:
Packaging: 5/5 I like the glass jar.. Some might not like dipping their fingers in it
Product: 4.9/5 Love the texture and the tiny sparkles in it & decent pigmentation but there's not a wide range of shades.
Price: 4.8/5 Got it at like 7$-8$CAD
Scent: My nose didn't detect any! =P
Would I repurchase? Why not? I might look to the other colors! =)

OoooOooOh! One last thing! I received my purse keychain today from Dana (from D<3T Charms)! I absolutely love her creations! =) She also includes a Herrohachi pins! I chose the cupcake one =P~

YAY I'm happy! XD
Just waiting for my circle lenses now... and a package from cosme-de.com
Good night ladies!
Love,
-S
