Blinc KISS ME Ultra volume mascara review

Good evening people! (or morning if you're from another country :))
Today's friday! whoooo! I had a pretty bad day today.. =/ I woke up this morning and felt a little bit sick but I had to get ready to go to school because I couldn't miss my aerobic class & I had a lab in biology + meeting with peers for an oral + group discussion in class for our philosophy exam. What a day. Dizziness caught me off guard while doing my lab & the teacher offered me to get some rest in her office. I felt much better afterwards because of the fresh air coming through the window. Whew.

I haven't been sleeping very well for these past few days so I guess, no, I'm certain that that's the reason why I felt weak. Plus the stress & the over-load of work is not helping. Anyways, I've just finished studying and would like to share with you guys my opinion about Blinc/KISS ME mascara, the one that doesn't paint them but tubes them.

As you can see, I didn't get the original one. I got the Ultra volume instead because the original was out of stock & since I love volume mascara I decided to try it. However, I must warn you guys that this one is more flaky than the original one, especially when you take it off. It irritated my eyes a little bit but nothing more. It is suitable for sensitive eyes & easy to remove. Rubbing off your lashes with lukewarm water will do the thing.
No mascara VS curled lashes & mascara
Volume you said? WHEREEE? o_O As you noticed, it didn't gave me any volume at all. Like.. nada. It separates & my eyelash appears longer but that's it. Nothing special. Bleh... pretty disappointed by the product & price. But it gives a nice natural look right? :D

I bought it at Jean-Coutu near my house ans retails for about 29,99$ CAD. I wouldn't repurchase because I'm pretty sure I can find a mascara that would give me the same effect/more volumizing for less. =P

Good night everyone, work tomorrow!

  1. Sorry it didn't work out for you hun -- the lashes are long, but can you brush another volumizing mascara over it without weighing them down?

Thanks for your review! :) I always wondered about this mascara too!

  3. Hello ladies! :)

I forgot to mention than despise the non-existent volume effect, it does hold curls pretty well. As for layering a volumizing mascara over it, it pretty sure it won't weight your lashes down but I have to test it to figure out!

Glad that you guys liked my post <3
